A developer who builds while traveling
Meet SeongJun Ha, the writer behind NOMAD JUN — a digital nomad who has been building web and mobile products.
Hi, I'm Nomad Jun — SeongJun Ha by my real name. Every article on this blog is written by me. The publication is called NOMAD JUN and the byline reads SEONGJUN HA for the same reason a newspaper carries both a masthead and a reporter's name. Think of it as a one-person newspaper.
How I've been living
I live and work without staying in one place. It's less that I picked a laptop-friendly job, and more that I keep doing this job because this is how I want to live. The full journey story is coming soon.
What I've been building
I've been a professional developer since 2017. I built web and mobile products at SOTEC, ASEADO, Social Investing Lab, and LifeCare, then served as CTO at INMUU and Hermont, owning both product and team. Most recently I spent two years on a North American Amazon last-mile logistics project as my main job.
These days I'm the CEO of OneBillionStudio, building an idle mobile game solo — handling everything from design and development to balancing and launch. What I learn along the way piles up in the DEV LOG section of this blog.
Why I write here
I decided to keep my records in my own space rather than on someone else's platform. This blog is both my portfolio and my life record. No grand plan — I just write down what I learn and what I fumble through, as it happens.
